Hopefully tonigh's episode gets rolling with some serious action. The past two weeks, while good and emotionally intense, have lacked action. They have been somewhat slow as both sides try to solidify their plans. Tonight I hope that the rescuse plan gets into full swing and Galactica and the humans kick some tin can ass. The opening of BSG has the following scrawl of text...
"The cylons were created by man. They evolved. They rebelled. There are many copies. And they have a plan."
After watching the season opener and last Friday's episode I have to ask, WHAT PLAN? Seriously, what is the plan because I see absolutely no evidence of one. The Cylons original plan was simple and direct. Wipe out the polytheists humans. Nuke em from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure. The Cylons came within microns of that goal. Then the plan was altered to capture human females and make babies. Why? Because the Cylons decided that they wanted to experience more of the human condition, make hybrids and set the new wave of the future for Cylon Human relations. Then the plan was altered to live with humans on New Caprica and bring them the word of the one Cylon god and I guess to still make babies. Now after their failure to live in harmony with the humans they seem to be back to wanting to wipe them out again. It was mentioned last Friday that the Cylons could just pull out and nuke New Caprica and I assume go after Galactica, Pegasus and the fleet with the plan of wiping them out once and for all. For all of their technological advancement they are very immature and socially retarded when it comes to dealing with the humans. Hell, humans can’t even deal with themselves! I think the opening scrawl needs to be changed to read, ""The cylons were created by man. They evolved, but they are stupid. They rebelled, and they didn't do a good job of it. There are many copies and they are all psychologically fracked up. And they have no fracking plan what-so-ever."
So say we all.
Maybe the Cylons just need a prescription for Celexa...

I think that's the point. Of course, I haven't seen the 10.20.06 episode yet as I'm still in Maine, and will be until late Monday. I'll make a disc on Tuesday that I can watch that night, so I may have more to say then.
