Peter... watch out for your cornhole, man...

If you've seen the movie Office Space you know that line. The one where Peter Gibbons thinks he is facing jail time in a "Federal Pound Me in the Ass Prison" and his neighbor, Lawrence warns him to... well it's pretty clear what his neighbor is warning him about.

Now this brings me back to our first evening in Ohio right before dinner at the No Beer & No Lemon Cafe. There's a newspaper box outside the entrance and I drop fitty-cent for a copy of the Dayton Daily News. As I scan the front page my eyes come to a tag line that reads, "Did you know? Saturday's tournament proves cornhole's popularity in the Miami Valley. You can practice on this tabletop version. Article on Life 8-9."

I really had to stifle busting out in laughter. Who would have known that anal sex was so popular in Ohio as to have tournaments to see who is the best at cornholing? Hell, they even love to do it on tabletops and want you to practice! Practice makes perfect they say. Well, photos of the tag line, Life section headline and the terms used will surely make you laugh as much as I did and still do especially when you think of cornhole as the hole in your body where the corn comes out after you eat it. Most people think of that hole as exit only.
