September 1862, Antietam
Today Jenne and I went to Antietam National Battlefield for the 144th anniversary of America's bloodiest day. I was there to volunteer and Jenne came along to share the day with me. This is the fifth year in a row that I have attended the anniversary events and my fourth year in a row officially volunteering.
Now, you may recall that on Wednesday September 13th I wrote that my Nikon D70 is back in the shop for yet another burned out pixel. This may lead you to wonder what then did I use to make this photo four days later. A borrowed camera? Nope. Ahh ha! Film then! Nope, not film. I must have gotten my D70 fixed and returned then, right? Nope. This image, and three others posted on my Flickr site (click on photo at right) was made by my brand spanking new Nikon D80! BOOYAH! For my fellow photography enthusiasts you can
click here to check out all the technical specs and features. I couldn't be happier with the new D80. It's all the features of the professional level D200 and the D70 combined with a whopping 10.2 megapixels and none of them are burned out. More photos from today will appear over the next couple of days.

A new update of DOA is coming and the Zeppelin will be returning for the first time in quite a while.
Apparently, IEN has a connection to the movie to the point that it is possible that DOA will be renamed flyboys.
Demo only at this time as far as the "flyboys" client but saw a lot of old names getting ready to slaughter the noobs who will undoubtedly show up as the result of the movie hype.
At this time the arena is unchanged but things will be changing soon enough unless IEN does what it does best and ignores exploiting the market potential.
