SON OF A BITCH! MOTHER FRACKER!
I was shooting more macro images of toys this evening and having a good time. I downloaded them into Photoshop and started to work on one of Batman's bitterst foe, the Joker, when I spied another burned out pixel with long red line running from it. It's pretty damed easy to spot too when the image is in colour. This burned out pixel is worse than the last one as it's in the upper right quad of the horizontal frame and the thin red line runs from it all the way to the bottom of the image. It's in all of the images and in the same damned spot in each. It's much more work to clean up than the last one too. I am so fracking disgusted and pissed off.
If there's a bright side is that this repair will be one Nikon's bill and not mine. Son of a bee-otch.
Stupid burned out pixels! I'll keep my fingers crossed that they fix it right this time -- and that somebody invents a CCD that only burns out a pixel at a time, and not a line at a time (I know it doesn't quite work that way, but you get the idea).

And what kind of test did the repair shop do to make sure the problem was fixed. I don't think you took very many shots before it came back????????
