Our girl, San

I have my camera back. Actually I have had it back for a week. So I got it back earlier than told and the repair was also cheaper than originally quoted by almost $100. The camera is all clean and looks like new. The CCD was replaced.

Now that I have the camera back I have started to make photographs again. The other night I was crawling around on the floor trying to get good images of Poe and San (pronounced like khan). I was using a Nikon 60mm f2.8 lens, which on my D70 is more like a 90mm. I use the lens for portrait and macro photography. Photographing cats is much the same as herding cats in that it is not only difficult and time consuming, but also annoying to the cat. San however doesn't appear to annoyed in this image

In other news, things continue to go well.
