Sailing Away

Red Sails and Evening Sun

Jenne and I have taken two evening cruises this summer alone, and both on sailing ships. During our Ocracoke vacation back in the first week of June we took a sunset cruise on the schooner, Windfall. See photos by clicking image at right. Last night we went on a Reggae dinner cruise abord the clipper ship, Clipper City thanks to my employer. Friday night a week ago Jenne I got to go the opening pre-season football game of the Baltimore Ravens thanks to our awesome neighbors, Dan, Laureen, Dylan and Kallie. They gave us tickets for the club level and we had a great time! Thanks guys!

I realize that I haven't been posting much at all this summer, but I still don't feel the need to write. Life is sailing along real well lately. Our home life is great. We have great friends and families. I am really enjoying playing World of Warcraft. Jenne and I have lots of fun things to do and our jobs are going well. I really like my job and I haven't been this happy at a job since I did tech support for Claritas back in the late 1990s. Honestly, I have nothing to bitch about except for my lack of anything to bitch about.

I wrote more when I was depressed. It was therapeutic. Now that I am happy I am engaged in living life instead of dreading it. And to live it is to be involved with people, projects and hobbies. Right now, blogging is just not that central to what's happening. Oh, I have no intentions of taking down the site and I will still post from time to time, but it is just not a priority. I would still look for a post about once a week and photos on my Flickr site a little more often. if you want more details about what's going on, call us and let's talk and/or arrange to get together. We would much rather see you in person and spend time with you.

Good to here from you guys again. Glad everything is going well and understand how blogging can be moved to the back burner.
I'll still be looking forward to your words of wit and your fantastic photo captures.

Speaking of which, we ought to catch up again. Still have a movie to watch (Casshern) and I've got new toys, with more on the way. Just moved the office so I'm kinda closer to home.

Did you see the new BSG season plugs yet? Getting ready for the new season? Bet there'll be plenty to write about there!

We did a sunset champagne cruise in the Keys 2 years ago. Lots of fun and we got terrific pics of the sunset. Speaking of pics, has your camera found its way back home?
