Glass Fish
I have posted another bunch of our Ocracoke Island vacation photos to my Flickr site.
I think that I may have mentioned last year that I do not shot the typical style of vacation photo. You won't see photos of people standing on the beach with the ocean behind them while they stare at the camera. What I do is take photos that capture the essence and feel of the place we vacationed at. I like the little details that when you put them altogether make up a bigger picture. I like to shot for a feeling of closeness and intimacy. Sometime I will photograph a larger scene, like a landscape or seascape, but even then I am looking for the details that make the place special. I hope that I have brought that to you and that through my imagery, you feel something of what a visit to Ocracoke is all about.
God, I wish I was there right now.
