Yes, I am around. Yes, I am doing okay. The job search continues and positive progress has been made. That doesn't mean I have found a new job. It just means that I am making many contacts, getting the resume out there and doing stuff.

Last Saturday we went to my brother's home in Manchester, MD for the joint B-day party of my niece and nephew. The photo at right is a detail I shot of the barn on the neighbor's property. There are two more on my Flickr site. We had a great time at the party. We played with the kids, had nice talks with my family, and I got in a little photography. My niece - age eleven - is becoming quite the photographer of her own and has entered, and won a few contests now in her school and at the county level. I am so happy that I have helped to inspire her. For her birthday, Jenne and I gave her her very first book about photography. She was very excited to get it and started looking at it right away. I hope to be able to get copies of her photos to post here on my site. To my nephew -age seven - we gave a Star Wars transformer and immediately he had me help him transform it from X-Wing fighter to giant robot. It is amazing to me how fast these kids have grown up! Jenne and I are delighted to be a part of their lives and an influential part at that.

Hey Will...long time and all that.....your photography is loooking great as usual.

And apparently you are 'in between positions' since I was last here. Far be it for me to preach to you, but similar circumstances led me to attend college at my mature age. I am now self employed in the computer field and have never enjoyed 'working' as much. Sometimes things happen for a reason..for me it was a reminder that happiness is about far more than a paycheque. Chin up...you offer the world far more than just work.
