I have good news everyone! The season finale of BSG will be a supersized, ninety minutes long! This is the biggest BSG episode to date. "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part 2" will be presented as a special 90-minute television event on Friday, March 10, 10pm-11:30pm ET/PT.

In true Galactica-style, the expanded season finale cliffhanger is sure to leave viewers wanting more. Up to this point, the last remnants of humanity have been on the run from the Cylons and searching for a mythical planet called Earth. They have been led by President Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell), a woman whom many believe is the chosen prophet of human scripture, and Admiral William Adama (Edward James Olmos), a retired war hero forced back into service after the Cylons' near-genocide of the human race.
Now, with the presidential campaigning in full swing, the election's outcome hinges upon a core debate...
March 10th! That's three weeks away! Can you believe it? March already. Counting tonight's episode, 217, The Captain's Hand, that means there are ONLY FOUR EPISODES LEFT, and next week is the long awaited Cylon-centric episode, 218, Downloaded! And then it's the long, long wait until Season Three starts. I feel the beginnings of withdrawl already. SO SAY WE ALL!
