When the weather is nice during the week, I take a walk at lunchtime. Usually the walk is a four-mile journey with the goal of getting in aerobic exercise. The other day I went out with the goal of doing a little photography. Mileage was not a consideration. This statue is about a mile from the office. It's untitled in so far as I could not find any sort of plaque naming an artist or title of the larger than life abstract piece. There are five figures in the piece and their base forms a circle. Their outstretched arms and bodies come together at the sphere forming a king of pyramid shape. They hold up the colored glass sphere that shines in the sun. This is one of about a dozen images I made. I am going to go back and photograph this again when there are clouds in the sky.
