Emperor's Royal Guard

This is an official Don Post Studios Star Wars Royal Guard helmet. Like all things Don Post, it was wrong out of the box. The color was originally a flat maroon and the visor was more like a slit with a piece of red plastic over it. WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! Now it is closer to being 'screen accurate' than it ever was and for that I have to give a big shout out to my good friend and Star Wars costumer/prop maker par excelence, Clark for the awesome job he did refinishing the helmet and bringing it up to the high standards of the geeky nerd boy (and girl) Star Wars costuming community. And I say that with respect because if I don't they would beat me with a gaderffii stick! May the Force be with you.
