Will,

I see you found my spot that I took the photo of the plane running the stop sign 15 years ago. Check out my link.

My father used to take us there when my brothers and I were kids. It was a favorite place for us. About fifteen years ago Jenne and I went there while we were dating. It's a nice park now with a hiking trail, a playground and a few picnic tables.

Peace,

I think everyone who takes a camera to the observation area at BWI has taken that shot. I'm not being nasty or anything - I've had about a half dozen people who've bought a digital camera show me that exact photo in the last 2-3 months. It's an odd bit of synchronicity.

I'm sorry if my comment sounded negative. That wasn't my intention. I too have seen other photos taken from the same area. It's also fun to go at night and watch the planes fly very close over your head.

No one sounded negative. I agree that it's a popular spot and it's a fun photograph. I don't agree that everyone who takes a camera there takes that photo because most people just aren't that observant. I took no offense.

Peace,
