Batman - Tarzan Adventure Hour

BatmanTarzan.jpg
This comes to us from page 45 of the December 1978 issue of Fantastic Films magazine. The caption in the magazine reads, "The Batman - Tarzan Adventure Hour is one of the best drawn and intelligent animated series on television. The scripts are also amazingly adult, especially for Tarzan."

Adventure hour, eh? Amazingly adult, eh? I don't remember this adventure hour at all, but then again I was only thirteen and maybe it was on late at night for the adults. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

How come Tarzan looks like a Vulcan in the drawing? Not that there's anything wrong with THAT! :-)

I believe this ran in the same era as the Rick Springfield cartoon, which was a show that apparently I am the only person on the planet to remember.

Did you ever Google the Rick Springfield cartoon. Some one, some where must have a fan site for it, or at least a mention. I admit that I don't remember it, but as I get older I don't remember a lot of things.

Peace,
