Today I feature some of the photographs of my loving wife, Jenne. Back in August Jenne traveled to see her family in Ohio and the Great White North, eh. She packed three disposable point and shot cameras. Why disposable cameras? In Jenne's words, "If you drop one of those overboard while fishing on the lake you don't freak out about it." Click the link below to see a few of the photos she made.

I guess you smile when in PA because you're not in VA. This rest stop on I-79 in PA, just over the WV/PA border is where Jenne makes her first stop and eats her bag lunch on her ride to beyond Dayton, Ohio. That sounds like a movie title, BEYOND DAYTON!

This is Jenne's middle brother Jon and his children Joshua and Briana. They live south of Dayton. Jenne spent a day with her niece and nephew and brought them shells from our Ocracoke, NC vacation back in June.

Once in Canada the order of the day is fishing with her brothers, uncle and dad on Dan's Lake for Walleye Pike. Jenne's dad (in the boat) and her brother Mooney (AKA Jim) prepare the boat. Either that or they are looking for the beer.

After a morning of fishing they take a break for 'shore lunch' where they filet and cook some of the morning's catch. Talk about fresh fish! These rugged outdoorsmen are Jenne's Uncle Elgar (L) and her dad, Richard.

Jenne and her youngest brother Jim play the scales. Here they ham it up for the camera with the biggest catch (Jenne won this year's biggest catch award) and the smallest catch (Jim won that honor this time around).

This dramatic image of the sky over West Kinn Lake Lake Goodman in Canada is my favorite of Jenne's photos. I didn't crop this in Photoshop. It is full frame and I am impressed with her composition and subject matter. So as the sun sets in the west over Canada we say, take off, eh!
Are you rubbing off on Jenne?
