This movie sounds like a must see! I love Gaiman's writing and I have been a fan of his writing in sci-fi, fantasy and comic books (they're graphic novels, Joel!) for decades. Here's a little about the opening of the film; In the opening credits, strips of paper come alive to form a circus. Spangled performers wander among the tents. Sock puppets discuss an evil queen. It is a thoroughly surreal scene, a circus by Salvador Dali come to life... Just to see this is worth the price of a ticket. The film opens in limited release tomorrow, but I can not find out where. Little help?
Mirrormask opens at E Street Cinema in DC tomorrow (this is the theater where I first saw Lost Skeleton of Cadavra!!). It's a very cool theater in DC. The following week it opens at the Charles Theater in Baltimore.
I sleep now.
