This was a difficult choice because I liked both ideas very much, but alas, I only have one MINI to drive through the country, so I had to make a choice. I finally decided on on Concept #1 because the Alliance logo is large and prominent and really stands out. Nothing subtle about it, but it fits in with the rest of the design and by "the rest of the design" I mean the boot and sides, which no one has seen the design of and no one will until it's done on October 15, 2005. I have to give a big shout out to Michael Marshall for his Adobe Illustrator work in creating the graphics files of the Alliance, Imperial and Incom logos for me to give to Aesthetic Creations. His help is making my Star Wars themed MINI a reality!
Now it's time to start thinking about interior mods and how to fit an Artoo unti in the MINI. Motor on and may the Force be with you.
Now all that you have to wait for is the cease-and-desist letter from the sharks at Lucasfilms.

Check out the H-Wing Carfighter!
Posted by: Will Burnham on September 15, 2005 07:47 AMit really stands out and you'll stand out in it! you're going to have so much fun - maybe XW could be for "extrovert Will"
Posted by: lynn on September 15, 2005 11:29 AMAn early welcome to Road Squadron, Will (you are going to submit pics to their site, I hope). Obi-Shawn's H-Wing is to be envied, as is Shawn himself. That man has too much energy and talent by half.
And thanks to Jun Rhee's school of Karate and Jedi Training, nobody bothers me either! (Except for the airport police, who keep stopping me for lame things like "license plate light inoperative" when the light is clearly lit. I don't think it's the Rebel insignia on the bonnet, though, but more likely the rainbow stripe on the boot -- a violation I call "D.W.G."
