Three more episodes to go until the season two break and then no more new BSG episodes until January 2006! YIKES! I can feel the withdrawl already. There is good news however! On September 20th the BSG Season One boxed set is being released. That means I will have to have a BSG Season One butt-numb-a-thon party wither on the 24th or on October 1st. Maybe I can have surround sound by then. Hmmm.
Tonight's episode has a special guest star! Lucy Lawless of Xena Warrior Princess is appearing as a reporter for Fleet News Service and she is given unrestricted access to the Galactica! From the TV Guide description,
"A nosy journalist (Lucy Lawless) smells a scandal when she boards the Galactica to interview the stressed-out crew for a documentary. Using her native New Zealand accent, Lawless plays Fleet News Service reporter D’Anna Friel, whom the actress wryly describes as “a down-market Christiane Amanpour. Given access to the battlestar in the aftermath of Tigh’s crackdown on civilian protesters, D’Anna is quickly inundated with story ideas. But the muckraker finds the best fodder for her expose when she observes the medical care lavished on the pregnant Cylon Sharon."
This spells trouble with a capital T and that rhymes with C and that stands for Cylon. No, this doesn't mean that I think she's a Cylon and I am not hinting at anything. Anyway, there is a good spoiler-free interview with Lucy Lawless right here. Be sure to read it and tune in tonight.
