She Took Off to the Great White North... EH!

Jenne left this morning at 6:30 AM for Ignace, Ontario in the Great White North, eh. She'll be gone for the next ten days to visit her mom and dad, her brother, Moonie, his wife, Pennie and their two kids. She's driving to Dayton, Ohio first to meet up with her brother, Jeff and Uncle Elger. They actually leave for Canada sometime around oh-dark-hundred on Saturday. As for me I'm staying home. That's right, Will is home alone! I have a full fridge of back bacon, donuts and beer, beauty, eh. Ok this is for all you hosers in like the US that don't know what back bacon is. It's like what you would call Canadian bacon, and it's like good with beer and donuts, eh. I have movies, video games, porno, and no making of the bed! I'm not totally alone at home if you count the cats. Take-off you cats! I have no specific plans and will likely do the same exact things I do when Jenne is home. I am sure that I will go motoring somewhere. In general, I'll just hang out and go with the flow, eh. I'll be working next week and there will be no major changes in the workweek routine, but this is a new job, so playing hookie is pretty much out of the question. She did leave me a list of 'honey do's', such as watering plants, laundry and a little reminder that I need to grout one of two bathrooms. Oh joy! By the way, do you know how to spell Canada for real? It's spelled like this you hosers, C eh, N eh, D eh. Beauty, now take off, eh!

Jenne Travel Update #1:

It's 8:22 AM and Jenne just called from Sideling Hill, MD (west of Hancock, MD). She is at the rest stop there eating her blueberry muffin and yogurt. She says there is very little traffic and that she is making good time. The valley below Sideling Hill is full of fog. I told her to take pictures!

If she's in Hancock, she needs to go to Sav-a-Lot and get provisions, dood.

They have this cereal there that's really interesting. I think there's supposed to a mouse drawn on the box, but it looks like a rat on crystal meth.

JTU #2: 10:35 AM and Jenne is on I-79 in Pennsylvania near a town called Kirby, PA that Google Maps does not list as even existing. She is in the Twilight Zone I guess. It's overcast and raining lightly.

JTU #3 12:46 PM
Jenne and I are on the phone. She is calling from the BP station in Cambridge, Ohio. It's her first fill up since leaving home on a full ten gallon tank. She is getting 48 mpg in a ten year old Honda Civic Hatchback with the AC turned on!!! That's as good as the Honda Hybrids without AC turned on! She continues to make good time and traffic is light to moderate.

JTU #4: I am on the phone with Jenne and she is at her brother's place in Brookville, Ohio. She arrived thirty minutes ago all safe and sound. Her brother is taking her to dinner tonight, probably at Red Lobster. Me, I'll be eating ramen noodles and beer or something and beer... sob. Just kidding.
