My Water is on Tap

Do you buy and drink mass quantities of bottled water? Do you believe it is healthier, cleaner and purer than water on tap? Were you aware that bottled water - depending on brand - is 250 to 10,000 times more expensive than tap water, AND that a lot of bottled water comes right from the same municipal water supplies that your tap water comes from? HOLY WATERSHED, BATMAN! We're being scammed. Click here and read the bruhaha behind the bottle. Jenne and I use an inexpensive filter system and a filtered pitcher at home. We have a stash of bottled water for emergency situations only.

If you'd like to drink Baltimore City tab water go ahead. No chance in hell I will though.

What's all that little white stuff floating in there after the last storm?...hum toilet paper maybe?...no thank you very much.

I'll stick with a nice filtered beer.

I've been drinking Baltimore City water for all but the first of my 42 years. In fact, I'm drinking some right now, fresh from the tap. Mmmm.... tastes great! And so refreshing! I think I'll have some more!

I grew up in the Highlandtown neighborhood and I drank Baltimore City water until we moved to Westminster, MD in 1980, and then I drank Westminster City water. I turned out just fine. FINE I TELLS YA!!!!

Funtionally insecure, neurotic and exploited.

BCW, now that's good water!

Peace,

I'm going to repeat a joke I heard over a decade ago:

Everyone knows about Evian water, right? Have you ever looked to see what Evian spells when it's written backwards? Yeah, that's right, NAIVE. And you have to be pretty damn naive to shell out $2.00 for a bottle of water.

oh btw, those filters of which you speak...I read that they can actually concentrate the bacteria and create a hazard where none originally existed....done now

Posted by: ronnie on August 5, 2005 11:36 PM

Yeah Ronnie, that's me, ruining the economy... not that Gee Dubya and his stupid war would have anything to do with it. Runing the economy is my evil super power, which was secret until you made it known. CURSE YOU. Because of that I am coming to Canada next!! BRUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA cough HAHAHA

Oh BTW Rockin Ronnie, do you have any links or references to those articles you read? I'd very much like to read them myself. I don't give any credence to folks who say, "I read/heard/was told by a friend of a cousin twice removed on my uncles side that such and such blah blah blah..." if they don't have the actual references for me to read. I provided an article that I found interesting and could share with my readers. I ask that my readers kindly do the same. It's gives ya 'street cred' and is much appreciated.
Peace,
