The Sidewinder ~ Roller Coaster in Abstract

Hershey Park's Sidewinder steel roller coaster in abstract. This coaster was installed at the park in 1991 and designed by a firm in Holland. The maximum speed on reached on this one minute forty-five second ride is 47 mph, which doesn't sound so impressive, but the ride has two 105' drops and a total of six loops - three done forward and three done backward! The thrill of this ride ride is that the second half is done in reverse!
