While Jenne, Larry, Anne and I were in DC for the cherry blossoms we visited the National World War II Memorial. To say it is impressive is an understatement. Beautiful fountains are the center piece. There are two large fountains representing the Atlantic and Pacific and fifty-six small fountains representing the U.S. states, territories, and the District of Columbia. There are also two large pavilions and fifty-six marble pillars that form an outter ring. I really want to go back to the memorial during the week and early in the morning when it isn't so crowded to make more photographs.

Beautiful photos...especially the fountain water shot. Jeff and I are planning on visiting DC tomorrow if the weather holds! We'll definitely want to take this in.
