Well, I'm a Judging Amy junkie and I don't have my TiVo yet so I will leave a totally off topic comment.

It's about cameras. I have a better camera now, one with more bells and whistles. It seems to go through batteries (I use rechargeables) at a much faster pace than my old bare minimum point and shoot model. Is this normal or do I maybe want to be thinking about replacing the batteries? I have no idea how long rechargeables are 'good' for and these are about 1 1/2 years old.

Hi Julie, I am assuming your new camera is digital and has an LCD screen on the back, which you use to frame your photos. Those LCD screens suck the life out of batteries. If you have a traditional view finder on your camera use that instead and turn off the LCD screen. Use the screen only for a quick review of your photos, but don't leave it on constantly. See if that helps extend your battery life.
Peace and good shooting, --Will

*sigh* Now that I no longer have cable... or at least not the expanded bit that includes SciFi...

I guess I'll have to rent it when it comes out on DVD to catch up on everything after the second episode.

Thanks to J&B, I have the first five episodes on video tape. So Jamie you can get caught up even sooner if you want to. Now I just need to get Jenne hooked on Galactica with me.
Peace, --Will
