The afternoon sun of late summer casts shadows through a window of Historic Christ's Church and onto an alter cross. Historic Christ's Church is located in in Lancaster County, VA on the Northern Neck between the towns of Kilmarnock and White Stone. I made this image last year during our trip to see our friend Ted and his family. Jenne had never been to the historic Christ's Church and I wanted to make some photographs there. I know that my talent with photography is a gift from God that I work to improve, and I thank Him for blessing me with that gift. I am not going to go into my personal faith and what it means to me because to me it is just that... personal, and evangelism is not one of my spiritual gifts. I actually know that because of a class Jenne and I took at our church. I will let the above photo speak about my faith for me.

My mom used to live a mile from this church and is a member of its congregation. The painting in my bedroom was done from a photo taken in the church. It's a nice spot.
