The Day Off

So what did I actually do on my day off? Quite a bit really. It wasn't all sit on my butt and play video games. I slept in with the cats curled up either next to me or on me (sometimes both at the same time) until 9:50 AM.

Up and in sweats by 10:00. Ate frosted mini-wheats for breakfast and watched twenty minutes of the Communist News Network. Cleaned litter boxes, took out the trash, left the house and went to 7/11 for a coffee, went to the Safeway pharmacy to drop off a perscription, went and got my hair cut at a barbershop with a spinning red & white pole outside... not a hair stylist, went back to Safeway to pick up said perscription, went back home. I spent forty minutes on the phone with Comcrap Cable trying to resolve cable modem issues. Went to Comp USA and bought a wireless router and a wireless card for Jenne's PC. Went back home and set up router and Airport Extrmeme card in the iMac (I'll put Jenne's wireless card in over the upcoming weekend). All is well with my cable modem and wireless home network. Went to the Margaret Smith Gallery and picked up my remaining photography. Hung some of it at home. Need to figure out where to hang the rest of it. Put the finishing touches on a Call of Cthulhu role playing adventure I have been writing for the Northern Virginia game group. Played both Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic(on Imac) and Call of Duty: Their Finest Hour (on X-box). Drank a few beers. Made pita pizzas for dinner and watched The Simpsons. Played some more video games and went to bed. Now it's back to work and the daily grind. Thank God it's a short week.
