Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Charlie Brown! and to all of you too from Poe, San, Jenne and I! May 2005 be all that you want it to be and more!
The above are larger than life-sized hand painted wood cuts of the Peanuts gang. They adorn Jenne's brother Jeff's home in Brookville, Ohio and are attached to the side of the porch that faces the east-bound lanes of Interstate 70. They were made by the art students of one of the Montgomery county high schools where Jeff works. A new figure or two is made each year and added to the scene.
That is just the neatest thing I've seen in a long time! I've always loved "A Charlie Brown Christmas" anyway. Here's to a great 2005!

For extra credit, which two characters depected here did NOT appear in the Charlie Brown Christmas Special?
Posted by: Jeff on January 3, 2005 12:02 PMI agree that this is neat and cute...from the outside. But inside, the shadows on the windows from the peanut gallery would just give me the creeps all night long.
Posted by: juli on January 4, 2005 04:08 PMJeff, The girl in the blue outfit on the left and Peppermint Patty in the ornage at right.
Does anyone else think that Peppermint Patty was a bit butch?
Peace,
