Monday Night Football... NOT

This entry rated HG-13 by the Academy of Gaming Arts and Sciences for its high geek factor. It is about fantasy role playing games - specifically D&D - and will not be of interest to everyone.

While a lot of guys are watching grid iron action on Monday nights I am sitting at a large table with a merry band of too-old-for-this-kinda-thing nerdlings rolling funny dice and adventuring in made-up fantasy worlds. That's right, this here big geek is playing DUNGEONS & DRAGONS version three point five. Why they just didn't call it D&D 4 I have no idea. I play our group's half-elf sorcerer Shinji. Anyway, if you are so inclined, you can read about our adventures as told by that bard of bard, Professor Pan (he's our Dungeon Master) by clicking here. By the way, on Tuesday nights I game master the role playing game, Call of Cthulhu for friends in Northern Virginia. Unfortunately I do not have the time to write about that, but Becky does from time to time. Thanks Becky! Yes, I do have a lot of hobbies and interests. And yes, I am a proud geek/nerd.

OMG it's been so very long since I played D&D. The last version I played was two. I always loved playing magic users that could cast lots of charm spells and maybe one or two whop ass spells. I could charm you ;-) tee hee. By the way have you seen http://www.dungeonmajesty.com/ ??? It's a riot. Hot chicks - like me - playing D&D. Way to funny.
