Seven AM Kitchen Shadow Study, the shadow of the spice rack at right side of photo falls on the fridge. The softer shadow on the left is cast by the baker's rack. The Sun is shining directly in the bay window of the kitchen.

Eleven AM Kitchen Shadow Study, the sun is at a forty five degree angle to the bay window. The shadows are cast by plants, the baker's rack, and the window frame. There's even a shadow being cast by a Kodama (forest spirit) figure from the film Princess Mononoke.
I took the above images last Tuesday when I was home sick for two days with the creeping crud. You didn't think being sick would keep me from taking photos did you? The shadows being cast around our kitchen by the early morning sun really grabbed my attention. As you can see, I focused my and my camera on the ever changing shadows on the fridge.
