Yeah, I am home sick today. Sore throat, sore nasal passages and sore inner ears. There's the whole stuffy head runny nose thing too, and on top of that there is pressure at my temples, along my forehead, and behind my eyes.
I felt fine yesterday, but as the day wore on I began sneezing and my throat became scratchy and I became ever more worn down. At 2:00 AM this morning - after approximately four hours of sleep - the pressure started in my head and woke me. There was little sleep to be had from that point on. To beat the traffic home from Centreville, VA I left Jeff & Becky's at 5:30 AM and made good time getting home. So why am I still awake and not in bed right now? Because I am waitng for 8:30, as that is the earliest that I can call the doctor and try and get an appointment for today. After I visit the doctor and get some drugs I will stop and vote. Then it is home to bed.
Bummer man. sorry to hear it. Well, at least you can watch election coverage all day!
Posted by: Dave on November 2, 2004 08:22 AMHope you feel better soon. And I hope your polls aren't as crowded as ours was this morning! Jeff and I stood in line over an hour and we were there at 6:50 a.m.!
Posted by: Becky on November 2, 2004 10:07 AMGlad to hear you're still gonna get your snotty, sneezy, feverish, coughing, can't sleep at night ass to the polls!
Professor Pan's prediction:
John Kerry wins the popular vote.
Electoral college vote is up in the air as the messy swing state shennanigans take center stage. This time, however, if the vote is tighter than a frog's ass, Dems will not roll over like they did in FL in 2000. The GOP hooligans will find an equal number of Dem hooligans ready for a (nonviolent, pray) rumble.

Posted by: mm on November 2, 2004 01:06 PMDave, if he has to watch election coverage all day long then he'll be sick to his stomach! Eeep. Will, I hope you feel better- the creeping crud is going around. I haven't been to the polls yet -I'm going at 3:00 when I'm hoping crowds will be light. Traffic is all screwed up on Main St. though, so I'm betting the rest of the roads are experiencing weird traffic patterns.
Lynn, good point! I had not thought of that. Ahh, he can watch the coverage on Comdey Central tonight!! The Daily Show special!!! That will cheer him up!
Hi Guys and Gals,
I have talked to the doctor (sinus and respritory infection) and been to the polls. I have my drugs and my little "I VOTED" sticker and I only waited five minutes to get both! I hit the polling place at just the right time because when I walked out there was a FLOOD coming in. I have been on the couch the remainder of the day watching Anime - Evangelion in fact, thanks for the loan J&B - when I am not sleeping. I refuse to watch the yacking head election coverage. What's going to happen is going to happen and Jenne and I have done our parts. I hope that all of you have done yours! Lynn is right, I don't need the opinions and anal-ysis of the media. That would indeed make me even more ill. I sleep now.
Peace, --Will
Will- Sorry to hear you are under the weather. Having witnessed the Halloween altercation, I do believe, the wizard staff has cast a spell on you. This would be similar to "heroin eyes" depicted a few months ago. Well, I've done my part for change and must prepare for either fornication or Johnny Walker this evening. If you still have the staff, prepare for a journey across the Red Sea as Moses. Habid, jump in!
Waving my little American flag!!!!
Carry On.
I hope you feel better soon!
