Imaginative ~ Thursday Challenge for 09.23.04

Moon Rise

This week's Thursday Challenge is Imaginative. Everytime I see these giant cranes - and with the growth around here I see a lot of em - I have always imagined them like you see above, performing more interesting and imaginative tasks.

To make this image I photographed two separate elements; the crane and the moon. The crane was photographed a little before sunset and the moon right after sunset. Using Photoshop I copied the moon and pasted it into the image of the crane. Using the clone tool set to different opacities I blended the two images together.
