One Nation, Under the Love God

The above and below comes to me from Mr. Scott Huffines, a friend of a good freind of mine, a reader of my blog, and a politically like-minded individual. It's an open invite to a big bash at Bengies Drive In Theatre on the East side of Baltimore, Maryland this coming SUNDAY, SEPT. 12th. It sounds like a wild and whacky time that will also be full of sweet photo ops (Thanks to friend and fellow photographer, Scott, I read the Bengies rules and there's no photo taking allowed... bummer)
AND it will help towards the goal of giving Gee Dubya his eviction notice in November! Read on.

Fellow Seamen,
Well here we are...less than a week away from this fall's potentially
saltiest shindig, and after having a whole month and half to plan...we still
are in a state of chaos... That's why it's important you know that like the election, this party is in your hands.

Oh sure we'll have the BBQ car burning tortilla and spewing our special
sauce. The DJ's have assembled set lists that would make Ashcroft shake his
buttocks. The Captain has agreed to give tours of/ demonstrate the Ladies
Room urinals for a buck. Mr. Fuzzer even went out and bought a bad ass
looking truck just so he could sell Natty Boh off the back. And we are close to
ironing out the final details for the first-ever game of "Speaker Pole Ring
Toss", where you can play for prizes that would make Vanna drool.

But even with all this greatness, not to mention Don Freakin' Knotts, we
still occasionally get that weird feeling one gets before any party that
things are gonna suck. That's where you come in. We call on you, the party
goer, to bring your own special something to this little scurvy swap.

Maybe it's a potato gun, or maybe an inflatable hot tub. Diana is bringing a
candelabra and accompanying violinist. Cary says he will sit in the dunking
booth naked. Sally is bringing Glow in the Dark badminton. Amy is thinking
of renting a gorilla costume. You get the idea.

In case you forgot, this is all in reference to the MoveOnPAC fundraiser at
Bengies Drive In Theatre this SUNDAY, SEPT. 12 th. (Nope, we're not
MoveOnPAC.org, we just wanna give 'em some loot.)

We hope to see all of your there. One way or another, it's gonna be nuts.
