Back in Town

Hi there! I'm just popping in for a moment to let you know that Jenne and I are back from our trip to Virginia. We went down to Kilmarnock, which is almost four hours from where we live. It's down Route 3, which they also call History Land Highway because George Washington, James Madison and Robert E. Lee were all born in sites just a few miles off of it. There's other history about the area too, but I'm not going to go into that rught now. We had a nice three days away, stopped at two wineries, saw some history and some wildlife, played games and generally had a great time... and yes, I took many photos, which will show up on this site over the next few days. Although I am off from work today - I took an extra vacation day - I won't be posting any of them or writing much more a'boot ou trip until Wednesday or so. I am pretty tired today, you already know the typical story about my back and leg, and I am going to get a cortisone shot in my lower back at four this afternoon. I was told that my lower back and left leg will be numb afterwards... oh say for about three hours and I may be a litle sore. Hey, I'll take a little sore over what I feel as a lot sore anyday! Be that what it is... I won't be doing much all all tonight, and right now I think I just want to take a nap before going for the shot. I hope you're not having a 'case of the Mondays'. See ya.
