Modern Metropolitan Living
I made this image Sunday last while roaming around Ellicott City with the new camera. It is very similar to an earlier image of mine - American Beauty - made using this same shop window. Why did I shoot this same window again? Mainly because they had changed the clothes on the mannequin to something more risqué and they put a gun under her right arm. I wanted to combine the various elements of the mannequin, her clothing, the gun, the graffiti and flag (reflected in the window) and enough of the store name to make a statement about modern metropolitan living in America. It is my submission for this week's Photo Friday challenge of Modern
Cheap phentermine. Cheap phentermine cod.
She must be having a hormonal flux too! Cool pic.

Posted by: Lt. Dan on August 27, 2004 12:02 PMI like this photo better than the previous one because you can see more of the lettering and the graffatti....and I think her outfit in this one more matches the look on her face.

Posted by: Charlie on September 1, 2004 12:01 AMfunny, I didn't read your notes at first and thought to myself that if we could see a gun there, that would be a portrait of America as a nation ;-)
and then I read the notes and discovered the gun LOL your statement was as clear as water indeed (thats exactly what I meant before, remember? you're great at that!)
