Go Jack Go!
As soon as I saw this week's PhotoTime Tuesday challenge of Aged I thought of this photo that I shot at Mike & Susan's wedding almost two week's ago. Jack may be in his eighties, but his age sure didn't stop him from dancing the night away with all the young women at the reception! This guy out danced all of us young guys who are over half his age! I don't remember him ever being off of the dance floor while the band was playing. Seeing Jack so active and seeing a sixty-one year old guy fly a spaceship gives me hope that getting old really doesn't have to suck. Wow, to be in one's eighties and surrounded by pretty women. That's pretty damn sweet. Go Jack GO! You're DA man! I hope when I'm that old that Jenne and I are still dancing together and the young'ins are saying... Go Jenne GO! Go Will GO!
Meow!
Is he doing the Batoosi?

Posted by: sherle on June 22, 2004 04:55 PMNo generation will ever dance again as his generation danced... in the days when real men knew all the steps and held their sweethearts close as the big bands played.... "I know every gain must have a loss/ we'll pray that our loss is nothing but time" were the lyrics of the love song "Til Then" and it was the prayer of every young man who went to fight the war and every sweetheart who went to work in the factories. May he stay forever young.
