STAR WARS EPISODE X, REVENGE OF THE CICADAS!

Lets Stomp Some Bugs!, Star Wars Imperial Walkers sally forth to stomp on an army of marauding Space Cicadas. Space Cicadas are REALLY BIG!

I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up!, The Space Cicadas of Brood X overwhelm one of the Imperail war machines! Two other walkers come to the rescue.
With all of the Cicadas around I just had to have some extra fun with this week's Theme Thursday challenge of Machine (submitted by yours truly). From my huge Star Wars collection I pulled three toys of the evil Empire's most feared war machine... the dreaded Imperial Walker. I think it is appropriate that the Imperial Walker toys were made by Galoob, the former makers of the Micro Machine line of toys before they were swallowed up by the evil empire of toys... Hasbro. The walkers are from the Action Fleet line, but they are still micro machines none-the-less. The photos were taken on the walk in front of our home. Jenne and I gathered up dozens of cicadas - living and dead - and placed them in the frame. Jenne - again suffering for my art - was my cicada wrangler and would pick up the ones trying to walk out of frame. She also placed them on the fallen walker for me. Cicadas don't take very good direction.
Note: No cicadas were harmed in the production of these images. Dead cicadas were already dead.
Note, Note: There is very minimal Photoshoping done to the above images. Cropping and color balancing and that's it. There are no Photoshoped cloned cicadas. Those are for episode XI (here it comes...) ATTACK OF THE CICADA CLONES!
These are great photos! Love 'em!
Must be horrible to live with all those loud bugs!
