Letting Our Lite Shine

As I promised in the earlier entry 20% Down and Six to Eight Weeks, our three new lamps.
FloorLamp.jpg
The new floor lamp. All cast dark metal with blown glass shade. The photo does not do justice to the subtle colors in the glass shade and there is wonderful detail in the vines and leaves.

AmberTableLamp.jpg
The "Amber" table lamp that matches the above floor lamp. All cast dark metal with blown glass shade. The closest I think Jenne and I will ever come to a Tiffany lamp. Again the photo does not do justice to the subtle colors in the glass shade. The pull chain to turn this lamp on/off is a little metal branch that ends in a leaf and hangs from under the center of the shade. Nicely detailed. It's really hard to photograph lamps.

NickleFinishTableLamp.jpg
The nickle finish lamp. I like all of our new lamps, but this is my absolute favorite. I think of this lamp as my lamp. I love the organic and futuristic feel that this lamp has. They didn't have lamps this cool in Star Trek.

Cool lamp on last pix. Reminds me of Madonnna's bra hanging. I'll look for you "striking a pose" when the ass seat comes in.

Just so long as the 80's smoked-glass-top endtable finds a new home, I think everyone will be happy.

You have great taste in lamps Will

I don't mean to advertise, but if you like those lamps you have to check out the kitchen that this guy designed. In fact, everything that he designs has that organic/futuristic feel, and I think that it's totally brilliant.

He is also a very nice guy that I had the pleasure of playing frisbee with last summer, while camping on a sandbar in the middle of Canada's west coast wilderness.

Let me know what you think!

You know you're an official "Will Stalker" when you enlarge pictures to see what kind of books he has on his shelves...
