This week's PhotoTime Tuesday image is of one of Jenne's hobbies; making Afghans. This hobby helps her beat that feeling of cabin fever and means that we have many warm blankets around the house. We have five homemade Afghans. We have one on the bed, one on the couch, two in the guestroom and a Christmas themed red and green one. They are really warm and with the temps in the teens and low twenties they have come in very handy. Our cats also love the Afghans and the only way to guarantee that either or both cats will be on one of our laps is to have an afghan covering it. Mostly Jenne makes Afghans as gifts for family, friends, neighbors and new babies. She just gave a baby afghan to our neighbors, Dan & Laureen for their second child, Kallie who was born a week ago. That makes two Afghans for D&L. If I remember correctly she gave away five or six baby afghans just last year! Right now she is working on a red and off white afghan. My way of beating cabin fever is to play PS2 games, watch movies and volunteer at Antietam.

Posted by: beth on January 20, 2004 07:23 PMDear Jenne- For my 40th birthday, I would like an Afghan thong. I have been a good boy (most of the time). Please make it loose, I am getting older and gravity is replacing vitality. Thanks
