Yes, I am well aware that in last night's entry I said I was too exhausted to take photographs for today's Theme Thursday challenge of Authority, but then I got my second wind. I was sitting in our basement and I just started looking around at all the action figures and inspiration finally struck. Action figures... authority... Authority Figures. I like the Lou and Cheif Wiggum best, not just because it fits my sterotypical view of the law as authority and their doughnut and coffee ways, but because of the way they are lit, seems kinda like the are interogating a suspect (probably Krusty) using the sterotypical one bright light in a darkened room.

I honestly had little firm idea of what I was going to shot for this week's assignment until about 8:30 or 9:00 on Wednesday evening. I almost bagged this one entirely, as I was so tired from this week of three Mondays. When I got the inspiration I got my second wind and as usual with me I couldn't shoot just one photo. Photography for me is like Lays potato chips. I can't eat just one and I can't just shot one. It's too limiting of the creative process. Tonight I am going to photograph my "studio" setup and share with you how these photos were made. Peace,--Will
