Faith ~ Photo Friday Image for 09.12.03

The Last Temptation of Christ

I have faith that Dashboard Jesus on a spring can avoid the temptation of the Luci the Devil Girl bobber. I'm not sure I could. She's a bobble head for His sake and everybody likes a good bobble head! I found these two novelty items at Atomic Books in the Hamden neighborhood of Baltimore. For this week's Photo Friday challenge of Faith I decided to go with a lighter and more humorous 'snapshot' look at the subject. If you would like to see some of my serious photographs relating to faith and the afterlife click here and click here. Have a great weekend and thank God it's Friday!

I had to laugh... then looked at the serious stuff! The bobblehead devil girl reminds me of a tiny trinket i bought my husband many years ago for Valentine's Day... a horny little devil.

So were they on the shelf next to each other or did you move one of them? That's too funny.

And Tina: Yikes! That royally sucks.

Sunidesus The figures were on the shelf together. I didn't have to move a thing. They also had a figure of Sigmund Freud and a Jesus with wheels under his base. I guess you could call him a holy roller.

Tine OH MY GOD NOOOO! I wish you could tell me that it's not true. I saw lots of really good stuff from you this year. I am so very sorry to hear this news.
