Here's a few of the shots I took last night from my cousin Karen's place on Wilson Point. I was out at the end of their forty-five foot pier. We were looking south towards Turkey Point Park and the Eastern Yacht Club, hosts of the fireworks show. All photos are presented full frame and were made using my Minolta Dimage 7i set to shutter priority mode. Shutter speed was one second. Click on each image for a larger view.

The finale. Light, nosie and smoke.
It was a good party. A bit smaller than previous years, but that didn't mean it was any less fun. Jenne and I arrived a little after 2:00 in the afternoon and stayed until the end of the fireworks show at 10:30. We got a little sun, I got in a little swimming, and we ate and drank the summer afternoon away. This is what weekends are all about.
those are beautiful Will..I like the second one with the colours reflected in the water
Posted by: rockinronnie on July 7, 2003 12:17 AMHidie Hoooooo! I know I haven't been around in a long time, but I was out of town and outta my mind. Well, I am back... sorta, and I see that you have posted some beautiful fireworks photos with lots of colors and you know how much I love colors! Well I have a COD for you my sweetie. Orange. Orange, porange nothing rhymes with orange, but it was a nice shade of orange to be sure. Not bright and gaudy like a higway cone (and I love cones, woof), but more warm and friendly like a summers eve. Isn't that the name of a douche? Probably. LOL! See ya.
