Said the blind man, who picked up his hammer and saw. My main PC is fixed and I have to give major props to my peep, Jeff Stoner! Yo, Jeff, word up, my man! Thanks for giving me that spare Nvidia TNT video card bud. It saved the day and saved me some bucks, and with the economy the way it is a few bucks saved is a few bucks earned! Now I can get back to working with my photos and getting those new galleries up on the site! It was indeed the video card, and the video card only that had gone bad. I am happy and upset about that all at the same time. You see the video card, a Hercules 3D Prophet II GTS Pro 64MB, was tops and pretty pricey when I bought it and it’s only a couple of years old. I don’t know what exactly went up, burned up or blew up on it so I am going to bag it up and send it to Hercules with a letter explaining things. I am hopeful that they will contact me with an explanation and maybe, in the name of customer satisfaction, make things right by me. I’ll just have to wait and see. Thanks again, Jeff.
Hats off to Jeff for saving you some bucks. You can now contribute towards your share of 2200 and counting towards the "war effort" and King Bush's ransom. Thought I would let it go...only when they stop printing $2 bills.
